How it works
A queen attacks along its row, its column, and both diagonals.
Place all 10 so no two queens attack each other.
Every square your queens attack is shaded and locked — tap one and it flashes red rather than letting you play it. Tap your own queen to pick it back up.
So you can't place a queen wrongly — but you can paint yourself into a corner and run out of safe squares. If that happens, move a queen and try a different arrangement.
